TheGreenGrades.com is a special project of Kelly LaPlante Organic Interior Design, demonstrating for over 11 years that "green" is a standard, not a style.  Kelly's motto is exemplified in her portfolio images throughout this site. TheGreenGrades.com conducts comprehensive reviews and evaluations of companies who provide eco-furnishing products.  It is our goal to aid consumers in making educated choices and to recognize responsible companies, while encouraging others to further develop their sustainable goals.  Only companies who exhibit significant sustainable methods in their practices, products, and procedures may be included on our site. After gathering detailed information concluded from a comprehensive life-cycle questionnaire, answers are evaluated by judges from varying sustainable fields, and an average Green Grade is awarded from our Green Grading Scale. 

TheGreenGrades.com is a not for profit reference site aimed at providing helpful information to consumers.  In order to cover the costs of maintaining the site, we are using GoogleAdSense.  We apologize, at this time TheGreenGrades.com is not responsible for which ads happen to appear on our site. 

Our judging process is based solely on the information provided by businesses in response to our Green Grades Questionnaire.  We are unfortunately unable to do fact checking on each and every answer from companies.  We trust that participating businesses will answer each question truthfully and help to uphold the integrity of our mission.
